Ray Charles Robinson (Albany, September 23, 1930 – Beverly Hills, June 10, 2004) was an American singer and pianist, considered one of the pioneers of soul music.
Blind since the age of seven years because of glaucoma, was able to combine different sounds, from rhythm and blues to country music.
